About Me

I am a divorced mother of two daughters.  When I got divorced, I needed a way to support my daughters financially, so I started a bookkeeping and tax preparation business.  It was hard, but I knew I couldn’t fail, I needed this to work.  Both my daughters are now grown and living on their own.  I have built a successful bookkeeping and tax business over the last 30 years.  When my clients come in for their appointments, they always talk to me about their life problems, it’s sort of like being a bartender or a therapist.  I’ve heard stories regarding marriage issues, problems dealing with their children, being unhappy with their life or job, just to name a few.  Through the years I have coached these clients without realizing I was coaching.  Every time I was able to help one of my clients with the issues they were going through it made me feel amazing!  I came to realize that the business I had built to take care of my family was just that, something to allow me to financially support my children and pay the bills.  I wasn’t passionate about my business.  I decided that it was my time now to do something I’m passionate about and that is coaching.  Starting another new business is scary but for the first time in my adult life I’m doing it for me.
